Indian Navy offers a lot of lucrative and prestigious career opportunities to aspirants. The recruitment process to the various positions of Navy is done through certain Entrance exams. The written test for the selection of candidates in Navy is carried out by UPSC. Those who pass the written test will be called for an interview. Those with engineering degree can apply to similar positions in the technical department of Navy. Short Service Commission carries out the recruitment to various posts in the engineering section. The educational degrees required for different post under Navy is different from each other. The minimum qualification required to join naval force is +2. Indian navy offers job opportunity to aspirants with technical as well as non-technical qualification. The applications are invited from Indian citizens two times a year. The examination is carried out at the selected centers over the country as mentioned in the notification. Those who pass the final interview have to undergo a medical test.
